The Centre for Research in Libraries, Information and Media (CeRLIM) exists to undertake research in information, its technology and communications.
Our aim is to contribute to the development of information systems and media through understanding the human and social dimensions.
We are in the Institute of Humanities & Social Science Research, the Dept. of Languages, Information & Communications and we are members of the Digital Innovations Group. We collaborate within and across these groups in areas relating to the Digital Humanities, Cultural Heritage, Corpus Linguistics, Web Development and User Experience.
We are actively working with the media industry and the library and information professions, in addition to developing research partnership in the public sector. We are currently members of the AHRC North West Doctoral Consortium.
